His motivation, is to create images that you feel compelled to hang on your wall, to live with, and to get to know more and more over time. He is fascinated by people and the places they frequent; He is the silent observer, watching the behavior, the awkward gestures, the silent acknowledgments, the knowing glances. The attractions and interactions of people, our fellow human beings. It is, his fascination, with the beauty and love of humanity, and our love for the aesthetic of beauty that is motivating his current work,. His work has the ability to give the viewer a deeper look at the people and the places that he is presenting to us. SIMONFREDERICK is a rare breed of Artist/Photographer, he is a Portraitist. A Photographer of people and places. Someone able to make us feel something for the people or places in his images. He is a great student of the psychology of imagery and the ability that imagery has to evoke our senses and drive our desires. His aim through his imagery is to make us “Feel”.
